I noticed the term "Bucks" in the heading of your query. Does this happen to mean Bucks Co., PA? If yes, do you happen to have any records about th Brown family? I trace my mom's ancestry back to Bucks Co. One George Brown, b 1643 moved to Bucks Co., PA 1679. Married Mercy Wright same time. They owned property on Delaware River in Bucks Co. Supposedly land was next to that owned by William Penn. George and Mercy parented 15 children, 8 of whom survived to adulthood. Their oldest boy, J. Elias Brown, b 1681 was the father of John J Brown Sr., b about 1710. John Sr. was the father of John J. Brown Jr. Sr. moved to Lewis Co. (W)VA about 1756 and then to Lewis Co. about 1783. John Jr., b about 1764 was the father of THomas Brown, b 1793 in Lewis Co. Thomas was the father of William Harrison Brown, b 1830, Lewis Co. William was the father of John Haze Brown, b 1879 in Salem WV. John was my grandfather. Do you have any connection! s to these? Thank you Fred from MN
