Robert became a Quaker sometime before April 16, 1760 when he married Ann (daughter of Joseph Chapman and Mary Worth, Joseph being the son of John Chapman and Jane Sadler and Mary being the daughter of Joseph Worth and Sarah Giles) in Wrightstown. He was the son of James Verree and Rachel ? of Burlington, and James was the only son and heir of this James Verrier (who married Valbert Williams) mentioned in the above deed. I am extremely interested in the Verree family, some of which migrated to Charleston SC. I would love to learn when they turned Quaker (perhaps one by one).
