I have a court document (copy) in which several people had to swear that the heirs present were the children of William SHingelton as he "leftt no widow." Absolom is said to be 1st born. William died in 1849, Elizabeth in 1810. I have Absalom, Sanford, Robert, Polly, John, Jeremiah, Elizabeth (Betsey) and ALexander...all present at the reading of the will with witnesses attesting that these were WIlliam's rightful heirs! I descended from ALexander.
