    3. Nancy, Yes, your web page, the Southampton Baptist cemetery gravestone inscriptions for BANES/BEANS, shows that the elder Evan (c. 1769-1814) is probably the one buried there. The younger Evan, who married Martha Woodington, is buried in the Vandegrift Cemetery in Cornwells Heights. The vital dates on his tombstone are: 1791-1845. His wife, Martha (1803-1889) daughter of David an Elizabeth Woodington, is also buried there. But I don't know for sure if the 2 Evans are father and son. I am also seeking the names of the children for both Evans in order to determine if there is a connection to my Joseph Banes VANDEGRIFT.
