    3. "Postens" Jacob, wife Ann, PA Line, soldier was born in NJ, and at age 5 or 6 he moved to Bucks County with his parents and lived there till the spring of 1787. He moved to Northampton, PA, the part that later became Monroe, soldier married Ann Burson 12 Aug 1780 in 'Bucks County. Soldier died 11 or 12 Aug 1832 in Northampton County. Widow applied 22July 1847 in Monroe County, widow died 19 Oct 1847 in Monroe County aged 83, however her date of birth was shown as 26 Dec 1765 in Bucks County. Children; Charles, Edward born 1788, William born 1791, Jane born 1798, married a Brown, James, born 1782 Sally , born, 1782, married a Henry. "Postens", Charles, wife hannah, NJ Line, soldier married hannah Hyer, 11 Oct 1772, Freehold, in Monmouth County, NJ. Soldier died 10 Jan 1789. Widow applied 29 Dec 1842, Monroe County, PA. On 24 April 1844 widow gave her age as 90, and she stated that she had a son William Postens born just prior to the War and he died in Phila,PA. Soldier nephew, James Postens aged 60 made aff'dt on April 24, 1844 in Monroe County and he referred to his father Jacob Postens. Best Wishes, Geri
