    3. Hello John - Thanks so much for your suggestion. I have Bonnie Strawn's CD plus a copy of "Early Friends Families of Upper Bucks." What I am looking for actually is documentation on Jacob Strawn (1717-1801) and proof that he serv'd on Com.. of Safety in Bucks Co. I contacted DAR office and they sent me a citation for the PA Archives, Series 2, Vol. 14. I looked around at local libs, and nobody has the set. Yes, I know about the Strawn-VanBuskirk marraige. You and I are related thru marriage since I descend through Jacob's son John Strawn Sr. and his son John Strawn Jr. who had a daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" Strawn who mar. my ggg-grdfa John Spalding of Campbell Co Ky. many thanx, Pat Doster Asheville NC
