Pat, you may want to try this "Find a Library" locator link: http://www.worldcatlibraries.org/ I entered: Pennsylvania Archives and hit enter. I then selected one of the results from the list, then entered your location of North Carolina. I think you may be in luck as it appears that the University of North Carolina at Asheville may have the PA Archives series. I have Bonnie Strawn's CD plus a copy of "Early Friends Families of Upper Bucks." What I am looking for actually is documentation on Jacob Strawn (1717-1801) and proof that he serv'd on Com.. of Safety in Bucks Co. I contacted DAR office and they sent me a citation for the PA Archives, Series 2, Vol. 14. I looked around at local libs, and nobody has the set. Yes, I know about the Strawn-VanBuskirk marraige. You and I are related thru marriage since I descend through Jacob's son John Strawn Sr. and his son John Strawn Jr. who had a daughter, Elizabeth "Betsy" Strawn who mar. my ggg-grdfa John Spalding of Campbell Co Ky. many thanx, Pat Doster Asheville NC ------------------------------- To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
