Surnames: Stankiewicz, Rejniak, Thomas, Mace Classification: Queries Message Board URL: http://boards.ancestry.com/mbexec/msg/rw/DaB.2ACE/3735.1.1 Message Board Post: Hi, Thank you for trying! I travelled from jersey in the spring and also went to the library. The information that you were trying to find was in the Bristol Courier on August 4, 1941 with the heading "Bensalem Township Man Fatally Hurt In Auto Accident. Leon Stankiewicz, 27, Crashes Into Tree; Dies Nine Hours Later. 4 Fractured Bones. They listed it with another accident on the front page. I searched all of August of that year and still did not find an obit. I was thinking that because it was on the front page that they did not put an obit in. Either that or an obit is in a Philly paper for that era. I also could not find any thing on Stanley. I am hoping that the Philadelphia Public Library will have something on him. Again, thanks for looking I really appreciate it. Sharon Jones

    2. It is said that Nathaniel West 1756-1833 married Nancy Jones 1764-1848 in 1788. Their son, Nathaniel West married Mary Polly Mills in VA in 1819. Can you confirm? Been searching for Nathaiel's parents. Thanks, Carol Campbell

    1. [PABUCKS-L] Re: Rebecca Casner who married Benjamin Fell, Jr.
    2. Yours is the first time I have seen the names posted. My Huston is Est(h)er Huston. She was born December, 1801. Where, I don't know, maybe Montgomery, maybe Bucks, nor do I know her parents. There was a John Huston described in Montgomery County who could have been her father - right age. The narrative said that his name was HESTON, often misspelled as HUSTON. She married George Casner BATES in 1816. They lived in Upper Dublin Township, Montgomery County, PA until his death. I don't know where Geo Casner BATES came from, either, but he was born in 1787. Esther was wife #2. Ruth Buck

    2. I noticed you have the surname "Huston" as one of the surnames you arer searching. My family originally came from Bucks County, and my GGGGrandparents, John Huston and Phebe Spear, were married in the Newton Presbyterian Church in 1780. However, I don't know when he (John Huston) or his family came to America. I think he was related to Hugh and Jane Huston of Bucks County. Are any of these names connected with your research?
