In 1890 Orange was a town in Luzerene county with a population of 99. Orangeville was in Columbia County with a population of 721. There was also a telegraph office and Express office located in Orangeville. This is according to UNITED STAES ATLAS 1890 AND COMPLETE POST-0FFICE DIRECTORY.
