Hi All: It may be time for me to back up. The death certificate for Isaac Jones shows "Place of Birth: Orange". I assumed it to be Orange county and now need to know if it was customary back then to show place of birth as state, town or county. Two of his children are shown as PA on their certificates.; which I thought was Pennsylvania. AnY Ideas? Bill Stiles, Charlotte, NC
