Is anyone familiar with Bessie Brady, also known as Bess Brady? She was an artist with a summer home outside Ulster, PA, on the old dairy road where Hazel Dell Farm is located, currently owned by Roger and Annabelle Lamb. Miles Forman Ransom and his wife, Adelaide Delpeuch Lent owned Hazel Dell Farm, a wedding present from her parents, John Lent and Susan Minier. Up the road (heading west) was the summer home of Peter Brady and his wife. Bess is buried in the Catholic section of the Ulster Cemetery. She was a great friend of my great, great aunt, Alice Ransom, whose sister, Jessie Hyatt Ransom Nicol, is my great grandmother. My cousins and I have several paintings by Bess. We would be interested in any information about her and whether anyone out there might be interested in selling her art work, or knows of a gallery or antique shop that might have some of her work.
