    2. I recently attended a seminar on Copyright Law moderated by three copyright lawyers and this was the hottest topic of the day. They said that copyright law was unclear right now regarding links on the internet. Basically, the law hasn't had time to catch up to technology yet. However, the lawyers advised those attending that, in this early stage, one should apply the same copyright rules one would apply to appending someone else's material to your own book. That any work created by any author (published or unpublished) that is used by another without permission (and I would imagine especially without credit) is copyright infringement and therefore punishible as such. I think someone should let the webmaster of the site in question know that this is the case and I would imagine an apology would be forthcoming.
