    3. Forgive me, list, its a rainy day in Maine and I just have to respond to those looking for moose or is it meese? I'm sorry there seems to be a lack of this critters elsewhere but believe me, there are so many here!! How many would you like? You will have to pay for the shipping, however. I had hoped Joyce would get to see one - from afar. They are almost like ants up here in the north Maine woods - they are big, dumb and very destructive when one happens to run into one. Especially this time of year. They looks like a product of nature's garbage can - or recycled parts of left-over creatures when the good Lord was creating them!! We have a lot of accidents in the spring and fall - they appear out of nowhere and the eyes do not reflect light - so it is easy to run into one, they are so dark.. We drive in the middle of the road whenever possible, in moose territory - that way you have a chance to avoid hitting one when they come from the roadside. Because man's mission seems to be to pave every square inch of land possible - so's to be able to get back to nature - we have cut them off from their access to waterways etc. Black flies drive them crazy in the spring - love drives them crazy in the fall - hmmmm. Not too different from us Maniacs!! If you feel the need to see a moose, come to Millinocket. Regards to all, and apologies for the non-genealogical topic. Joyce in Maine
