I am a native of Tompkins County with lots of family in Chemung and Tioga county. I was looking for page 129 and 130 of the obituary clippings but coundn't find them. Regarding moose, I've been in New Hampshire 12 years and have yet to see one. It's one of my goals. Unfortunately the signs tell the truth. Recently a young girl was killed on Rt. 93 when her mother hit a moose. During this time of the year they can come charging across all roads and barriers in search of lady friends.
