Hi All, I have added a little to the school souvenir page. For those of you who have permanent or occasional trouble with the site links in my email, it should not matter. If you have the main page of the site in your bookmarks, you can get to it very easily with just a click whether or not that email link works at any particular time. The correct address to have bookmarked is: http://www.rootsweb.com/~srgp/jmtindex.htm If that is on your list of favorites, a single click will get you to it and you can navigate easily from there. I do not mention this frequently as I am assuming all subscribers to the mail list already have it bookmarked. However, I was reminded today that there are people so new to this they did not know about bookmarks. We are still in a phase of new people signing on to the Internet for the first time on a daily basis. Every day I get one or several pieces of mail from people who have discovered the site for the first time and some are very very new to running their computers. SO, for the newcomers, just bookmark the site in your Favorites list and you can get back there in a flash. In AOL you just go to the Favorites image and click Add Top Window to Favorites when you already have the Main Tri-County page open, In Netscape, you go to Communicator - Bookmarks - and click Add to Bookmarks, again with the main page of Tri-Counties already open. That automatically adds it to your list. In the other software it is pretty much the same. Also for the newcomers, once you get to the site at the main page, please read the How to Use the Site page which explains the main features of the site and which will give you a jump start on figuring out its structure so that you can find what you want quickly, or take the slow and leisurely browse mode if you wish. Another tip for the newcomers is use the tools in Windows to help you. When you see a URL (site address beginning with http) in an email that you want to try, just Highlight it by dragging your mouse with the right button suppressed over the text to copy it (Edit Copy) Then go to (Move your cursor) where you need to put the address and use Edit Paste. That will put the entire address where you need it and prevent typing errors. In any event, just have a good time in the site. It has been four years in development and you will not cover it all in a day. It represents a whole world over 200 years, so just enjoy the journey. Good luck and success, Joyce M.
