Hello, Do any of you have any info on Mary Jane Morrow, who was born August 12, 1873 and married Frederick Renwick Mitten about 1896. They resided in Towanda, Bradford Co., PA. When her husband Fred died in Oct. 1925, she was appointed to succeed him in his official position with Bradford County and thus became the first woman Sheriff in Pennsylvania. She died 22 Jan 1938 in Towanda, Bradford Cty.
