Hi All, School Souvenir booklets continue to come in in all forms. AND guess who found another one in her own house? Yes, I did - a 1904 Elk Run Sunday School booklet that was my grandmother's. I was looking for some church photos my grandfather had - did not find them, but found the 1904 booklet and an 1899 school award to my grandfather, and a whole catalog of autos for 1904 that was my uncle's (he collected antique cars). What a lot of wonderful junk we have under our noses. Our grandparents' generation saved so many more things than we do, partly because they had so little that it had more value to them. We have everything we can think of and not much of it has any importance to us. Also, when I get to the bridge project, you will not believe the bridge photos that have come in over the weekend. Incredible things, covered bridges I never knew existed all over our three counties. And a beautiful photo of a train crossing the valley wide trestle bridge in Trowbridge in Jackson Township. What a thrill to see them. I have been picking away at renovating the township pages and one by one they are looking better. Anyway, even though this school thing is starting to feel like Pandora's box has flown open - not with bad things, but with wonderful memorabilia - just keep it coming. Thanks to all, Joyce M.
