Hi All, I have uploaded at least 12 more school pages today and am just about brain dead. You will find that several of the pages at the bottom of the listing are present day photos of abandoned old one room schools in our area. In the neighborhood where I live in Cortland County, there was a lovely little red school on the corner when I moved here 23 years ago. Now it has collapsed into a heap of rubble and nothing remains to photograph. I would ask all of you who are local and who know of any old schools remaining in the Tri-Counties area, even if they have been incorporated into another building as so many have, to let me know what they are and where so that I can go photograph them before it is too late. Give me specific directions so I can find them. Or you may even want to photograph them yourself and send me the photos for the site.
