Marilyn, It happens because some people continue to send messages to the list in HTML format. The RootsWeb mail server converts this to text and forwards it to us. Most mail programs do not recognize the HTML tags in the middle of a plain text document and do not convert it back. Those people sending these messages have already indicated they will not change their format so I guess we have to learn to live with it. Cheers! Ray Justus Chandler, AZ
