Would like to make a comment about the article on Queen Esther. It is doubtful that the actual truth of the matter will ever be determined. But as the author says, some sqaw was on the scene and was seen by many settlers at the Forty -Fort stockade the day after the Massacre. I want to also point out an error , in that Wyoming and Forty-Fort are not part of "present day Wilkes-Barre" . Wyoming and Forty-Fort, both up river and on the opposite bank of the Susquehanna from Wilkes-Barre, have active Boro governments and are thus not connected politically with Wilkes-Barre.
