Hi Joyce, you mentioned pictures of old school houses. How about old churches? About 20 years ago my cousins took a picture of the old Kennedyville Baptist church located in Tioga county. When we were there to visit this past June I took a picture of it and when I compared the 2 photographs I was shocked at how it had aged in that span of time. While I'm on the subject of Tioga county and our wonderful trip back there, I wanted to mention what a thrill it was to get to meet our cousins Ken and Sheila Chapman and to spend a bit of time with them. Also met Scott Gitchell and his lovely mother Isabelle they are another set of cousins. We also drove through a gorgeous part of Tioga county where we thought we were seeing rhodadendrons and upon closer inspection it turns out it was mountain laurel...acres of it...all in bloom. However, the biggest surprise (literally) was the black bear we spotted moseying along amongst the laurel and the ferns...
