I was reading some of the extractions from the Tioga County Agitator and began to wonder why so many people from Tioga County moved to the Waushara County area of Wisconsin in the 1860's.There was a notation from a letter sent by one of by husband's people back to Tioga Co stating 2/3 of the town of Plainfield came originally from Pa.
