The only clue that even comes to mind is an old archaeology habit. When we cover up any sort of dig we place a coin with that year's date at the bottom. I adopted this as a way of leaving a memento marking that I found (and cleaned, cleared as best I could that day) old old tombstones that are toppling, eroding and crumbling and may not easily be found again. I tucked one into the soil. I'm not sure it's meaningful at all, I just do it. But *on* tombstones? I dunno. Kaye in Texas > Date: Mon, 30 Aug 2004 22:39:00 -0500 > From: "E.
