I'd like to know what school a young child who lived in Big Flats. The children would have just started kindergarten in 1911. The family moved to Elmira in 1925. Was the one room school house (KAYLER ROAD school) the only school available back then? And, when they moved to Elmira, did the older children attend Elmira Heights High or was there another school for them?
