Dave, On the 1930 census Edmond W. Dodge is listed as Edwin W. Dodge. He is also listed as widowed. According to that Edith E. Hoover/Neiley/Dodge probably died between 1920 & 1930. I found the family on the 1910,1920 & 1930 census. Do you have that information?
