I just recently was browsing Joyce's site for any possible information relating to my Father and his family. I found out that my father was assigned the draft number 2021 by the Bradford County Board #1. on Oct. 24, 1940. Does anyone have any idea where I could write to find out if they have any information about my fathers parents? Any help would be greatly appreciated. This list and Joyce's site are just SUPER and I for one feel that it is something worth keeping free for as long as Joyce can keep it that way. Just my $.02 worth. Ernie, During my eleven year tenure as Director of Veterans Affairs for Bradford County I was not able to locate the repository for Pennsylvania draft board records. Only the index books were available at the county level. As I recall, the books contain nothing of genealogical value other than the address where the registrant lived. I believe I turned these books over to the Bradford County Historical Society for archiving about three years ago, shortly before my retirement.
