Joyce, I don't understand why you are scolding me for this. I did search the site extensively before posting to the list. And my man was not there. Moreover, back in Nov. 2003, I never expected that a 37 year old man would have been drafted for WWI. I am assuming that others would have the same belief. I was attempting to inform others because we do not all have time to find and read the 1 particular page in over 12,000 at your site every time we have a question. When I do a search for "Wolfe" or "Wolf," I get nearly 2500 hits, which I cannot narrow too much more with "David." Yes, there were other ways to search, but they were proving futile as well. I have been at this for five years and I learn something new all the time. As a teacher, I encourage students that no questions are "bad questions." Please don't be so hard on people for asking them. I visit your site several times a day and I appreciate all the information that is there and the time that you and the volunteers have given. I also support the site with a financial donation each year and submit new information as well. I view the list as a forum that should be encouraged rather than discouraged in use. I'm sorry that you do not agree.
