    3. I've heard that all males in the U.S. - citizens and aliens - who were born between 13 Sep 1872 and 12 Sep 1900 (only exception: those already in active duty service) were REQUIRED to fill in draft registration cards. If this is the case, I could possibly find out more about my great grandfather, David B. Wolfe, b. August 4, 1880 in Lebanon Co., PA, d. December 06, 1942 in Elmira or his brother, William B. Wolfe, b. April 22, 1882 Lebanon Co., PA d. December 12,1962 Elmira. Does anyone know where these draft registrations might be located?? I CANNOT find the parents of these Wolfe brothers! Thanks, EllenBugs

    3. Ancestry.com has the following new category: World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918 I was able to find my grandfather Richard Floyd MANNING'S draft registration card on there - he was born in 1888 and he lived in Alpine NY at the time - his registration was from Schuyler Co. NY - It did not name his parents but did say he had one dependent child. If you don't have a subscription to Ancestry.com I could do a lookup for you - Regards, Gwen MECUM Hunt Searching every nook and cranny for the following surnames: Baker, Brink, Cody, Hayden, Jones, Knowles, Lloyd, Manning, Mecum, Skinner, Swartout, Smith, Wilson My personal websites: http://www.americanserviceco.com/genealogy.html http://www.tribalpages.com/tribes/mecum1 My Rootsweb site: http://worldconnect.genealogy.rootsweb.com/cgi-bin/igm.cgi?db=mecum1 ----- Original Message ----- From: "E. Frances Mary is also named I cannot tell if it is his wife or not. I believe is says he is short and has brown eyes and dark hair. I did not find William. Roberta -----Original Message----- From: E. 3. In the 1900 census, both David and William were outside of their parent's household David B. Wolf b. Aug 1880, 19, born PA, parents born PA, farm laborer in Swatara, Lebanon County William B. Wolfe, b. Apr 1882, 18, born PA, parents born PA, farm laborer in Fredericksburg, Lebanon County David just missed being enumerated in the 1800 census by a few months. There are many Wolf/Wolfe households in Lebanon County in 1880. J. Kelsey Jones ----- Original Message ----- From: "E.
