Sheila, There is a Washington Landrus listed in Heverly's "Pioneer and Patriot Families of Bradford Co., PA". Not much but says he married Lucinda Granger dau of Roderick Granger and Almeda Dunlap. Roderick lived in North Towanda, Bradford Co. PA. pg 91 Other Landrus listed in index: Cynthia, Lemuel, Lucy, Mercy, Phoebe, Samuel. There is also an article on Washington in the "Genealogy of Northern Pa" Vol. 2 page 555. Says he owned a farm at Maple Hill (poss. Blossburg) or Tioga Co. PA and later moved to Michigan. They do not know the father of this Washington. Says he is the first member of this family that they have any definite info on. He was born in the USA of French parents. His first son was born in 1839. This set of Northern PA is quite old. Published I think in 1913 by Lewis Historical Publishing Co NY. If I come across his parents I will let you know.
