Is anyone researching the Hoyt line? Am confused on records I have found previous. Darius (1825) supposedly son of Hezron & Abigail (Beers) and Rufus, Soloman, Johnathan (1835), Nathaniel & Benjamin sons of Hezron & Naomi (Stanton) Hoyt. But in 1850 census Susq. Co. Middletown it shows a Jno (abt 1800) & Mary Hoyt, living next door to Darius & Lydia (Brister), and next to them Nathan age 26, James 24, Mary 26, Jane 1. How does this Jno & Mary fit in to the line? Benjamin is buried in Middletown Cem., never could figure why. Leah Millard
