I'm doing a new project, like I need a new project, but I can do it at work since its for the Steele Memorial Library. I'm indexing all marriages and deaths for the years of 1861-1867 from the Elmira paper. I'm finding it very interesting since it is during the war years. Anyway I found this obit and thought maybe someone could use it on the list. I will send Joyce the index when I get done and if you see a name thats yours you will be able to find the book at Steele Memorial Library.
