Thanks > Pat Raymond Pat, I do not know the layout of Smithfield at all. However, I know that my grandparents and my grandmother's siblings lived in Smithfield and attended a one room schoolhouse. This schoolhouse was Sunny Side. A school souvenir booklet for Sunny Side from 1906 appears on the Tri-County web-site. The booklet states that the school is in East Smithfield. I recently looked at the 1930 Census which listed my grandmother's brothers, Tom and Bill Donovan, who owned the family farm in 1930. At the bottom of the page it said "Ulster Road." My understanding is that the property where Sunny Side was located was eventually bought by them and incorporated into their farm. Unfortunately, I do not know much more about Sunny Side than this. Hope this helps. Does anybody else have information about Sunny Side? - Tom Weingart
