Hi, I just wanted to reach any descendants of Dr. Christopher Tobey that I may not have yet found. I have just finished a family book entitled "Miandia Tobey's Diary". She was a daughter of Dr. Christopher Tobey and mentioned many many relatives and friends in the area of Caton, Steuben County, New York. I've transcribed and annotated her diaries from 1850 to 1886, included some letters and pictures of relatives. It's actually just a fun book to read. I'm about to submit it for printing but can only afford to print the amount for which I have orders. Please contact me if you're interested and I'll send you a list of people mentioned in the diary and the price. It is 490 pages, 8 1/2 x 11, hardbound, indexed. I'm sending this both to Steuben County and the Chemung County lists since Caton is so close to Corning and Elmira.
