    3. Hello to all Bradford County PA researchers, A week ago, I received 75-100 pages of Eli Conklin's Civil War Pension papers. Yes, I read them all! Eli Conklin was born in Canton, Bradford, PA on 18 Aug 1837. He served with Co. C, 107th Regt. of PA and was an infantry volunteer. He was wounded by an exploding shell and also he was captured by the enemy. He married Nancy O. Gibbs of Overton, in 1866. They had several children including Orville born in 1890. Eli Conklin died in Dushore, Sullivan County, PA in 1902. His wife continued to receive a pension until her death in 1925. 1. Who are Eli Conklin's parents? 2. Where can I send for his enlistment papers? In his pension papers, Angeline Rinebold Haverly stated that Eli Conklin had lived with Reuben Rinebold (her brother) since he was three years old. Reuben Rinebold was married to Catherine Heverly. Their son, Addison Rinebold also made a statement. Also there is a statement by Clemet Heverly. Some where on Joyce Tice's site, I read that Eli Conklin had managed the original Heverly family homestead in Overton, for a period of ten years or more. Unfortunately I didn't document the statement. Can anyone help? I am working on a premise of who I think are Eli's parents. I would love to hear from anyone who has info on Eli. Thanks.
