Fran, lilacs are indigenous to Colorado and we have several bushes in our yard here in Littleton. How are you holding up there with the smoke from the fire at Los Animas? Here in southern NM, they don't grow. But we went to Taos a couple of weekends ago, and there were hedges of lilacs in bloom and smelling wonderful.
