This past weekend I had the chance to visit the new headquarters of the Bradford County Historical Socity on Pine St Towanda. What a difference: more space, better lighting and as always a great staff. The genealogy in on the second floor while the first is being readyed for a museum with a room for a bookstore. All the jail cells remain on the second florr but instaed of prisoners they are filled with records. If you can, get up to see it. John Laughlin
