John Dawson and Hannah White were married c 1797 in Jackson Twp. Lycoming Cty. Rachel Dawson was born 1798. She married Jacob S. Keagle, Jr. of Liberty in 1816. John and Hannah were married prior to the formation of Tioga Cty.in 1800. Did Jackson Twp. include present day Liberty Boro and Twp.at that time ? There is a "family" of Dawsons buried in Shumway Hill Cemetery in Charleston Twp. Does anyone have any information about these families ? Did Rachel have siblings. Many of the children of Rachel and Jacob Keagle remained in Liberty. Anything at all will be helpful. Jim
