Just a followup on the town of Red Burn, Pa. Here is information from a paper I have on the history of Ralston. "The mines of McIntyre and Red Burn in their early developement produced coal in four foot veins. Four communities: Astonville, Carterville, McIntyre and Red Burn, scene of the early iron and coal industry no longer exist (as of 1937)
