Does anyone know of a Mrs. Clarke whose home is marked in the 1875 Mansfield map/atlas? Apparently, Mrs. Clarke was a close friend of my great grandmother, Mary Jane Woods GRAY, who also lived in Mansfield at the same time. My second cousin has a photo of this Mrs. Clarke, with the note on the back, "This is the friend that my mother [Mary Jane Gray] went to the Moravian School in Bethlehem with." Mary Jane was a school teacher who had moved to Mansfield from Steuben County, NY. I'm wondering if Mary Jane moved to Mansfield to teach at the Moravian school? Does the school still exist?
