I just viewed the before and after photographs of the Old Frenchtown Cemetery. I am at a loss for words. How can those of us who live out of state help to put a stop to this type of desecration? I know that there was an effort going about a year ago - nationwide - to put a stop to the "Cemetery Art" fad that was in vogue. Art dealers and antique dealers were selling monuments, tombstones, etc. as art work. Of course, all of those lovely markers were stolen from cemeteries. I haven't heard anymore about the Cemetery Art lately, or the efforts to halt the sale of those cemetery items. Perhaps the powers to be that were involved with putting a stop to the fad could assist in stopping the desecration to the cemeteries in total. Sincerely, Marion Scherer
