The death certificate will not give a marriage date. Depending on the informant at death and what information was given the death certificate could include name of parents, date and place of birth, cause of death, duration of illness, place of burial, and other information relating to death. If you know his date of death you might want to secure his obituary and depending on the newspaper you could have a very informative obituary that might give his place and date of marriage. J.
