Hi All, I am back from my New Jersey/Pennsylvania "expedition" with a whole new series of flagholder photos for the site. I am still sorting them out but have added a new mystery flagholder to the site in hopes some of you can identify it for me. I also received a new book from Amazon on Secret Societies and Fraternal orders just before I left on Friday so I'll be able to add more information as I have time. My friends in New Jersey have taken to flagholder hunting with a passion and I had trouble getting them to stop long after I was tired out. One good thing about having friends on the search is that someone can hold the flags out for photographing. It is a three handed job and requires some distance. When alone I have to hold the flag out by the corner with my left hand and my left arm crossing in front of me and try to get the camera back far enough to get the whole thing in the view finder and aim and click it with my right hand. It does help that a digital camera has an LCD screen and is not held up to the eye, but still it is quite a trick to do alone and does not always turn out perfect. I'll be adding some new ones later today as I get it all sorted out and catalogued. Joyce M.
