    3. One source would be to try the Mansfield Advertiser newspapers since Mainesburg obits, marriages, etc., would be in that newspaper. Originals are at Mansfield University, but some (don't remember which dates) are in the Rhoda Ladd series and I have not checked to see which ones are on line. Hard copies are indexed. In 1880 he would have been 39 so I would suggest checking the 1880 PA soundex for this family which will list families with children under the age of ten. This will indicate if he had any of the presumed children, provided one or more was under the age of ten. Check the Tioga County, Pennsylvania marriage records at Wellsboro for a marriage of Kate Wells and also her children. Check the 1900 Pennsylvania soundex for Fred Wells. You could also go through all the Harveys in the 1900 Pennsylvania soundex and look for an Ida as the wife of ______ Harvey. Lots of other sources, but these are a few that come to mind.
