I don't want to start a fight here...but I personally think "inadvertantly" isnt what it was...for info on exactly what went down with our ancestors, the beginning chapters of "The People's History of the United States" makes clear how pointed our ancestors were about exterminating the "red man"... Also, having spent many years on reservations in the midwest, I can pretty much say (as Russell means once said a lot more eloquently) that the first chemical warfare inflicted on a population was supplying the Indian population with alcohol.
