    3. This is an update of a post that I made several months ago. The new material is on an Elmer Drown Dimmerick and Julia Smith. Does anyone have information of this family? Thank you. Marilyn Ransford Smith (4 May 1767 Ponfret, Windham, Ct. - ) s/o Benjamin Smith & Abigail Sprague Benjamin 1 of 12 children Ransford and Chloe (Drown) Smith were among the first 14 members of the Congregational Church of Mt. Pleasant, Susquehannah, Pa. in 1814. Two other members were their daughter Oshea's in-laws (Martial Dimminck's parents). Ransford & Esther (Tilden) Dimminck. Martial Dimminck was one of the first ruling elder's. (info from e-mail from Dee Merritt 6/15/95 in file) Spouse: Drown, Chloe (*1767 - ) Child: Oshea Smith 14 May 1798 Coventry, Tolland, CT. - 4 May 1861 Herrick, Susquehanna Co.,Pa. married: 19 Nov. 1822 Martial Smith Dimminck (1791-1879 Oshea & Martial had 11 children One of their children is: Elmer Drown Dimmerick b. March 6 1820 in - Herrick Center Susquehanna County PA and died there 2 April 1889. He married: Julia Ann Smith - b. 22 July 1820 in Herrick Center PA Susquehanna County. She died 7 August 1888 in Los Angeles CA married 4 July 1843 in ( in PA?) to his cousin . They had 2 children 1. Delos (1845-1907) 2. Winfield Smith (1861-1948) The only Chloe I have is d/o Benjamin Drown/e & Rachel Scott 1st marriage: March 1, 1795 to Lawton Kelley in Bristol, RI 2nd " : ?
