3. Due to our recent move I have had the "privilege" (?) of going through everything I/we possess (well, almost-had some help) I have some very old books that belong to my grandmother. There are about 8 books that I wish to get rid of but had the following names in them: C.W.Mousdale William D. Hall Mrs. S.M.Decker If any of these names are people you are researching, drop me a note and I'll tell you about the book. If you're interested in the book, I'll send it to you for the cost of mailing. Suzanne Guinn swguinn@kanza.net "The will of God will never lead you, Where the grace of God cannot keep you." 3. Hi, Everyone!! It seems like a long, long time since I left Orlando,FL in March to now living and breathing (fresh air) in Potter County,PA. Lots of stuff has happened since March. Our place is located in Elmer (just a few miles outside of Westfield OR just past Potter Brook) and the coffee pot is never empty, so if you live here, stop in. For those of you not here, it is BEA-U-TIFUL despite the rain and excess of rain. Everything is green and blossoming and even the manure smells good to me. I will NEVER regret this move. Antrim was a coal mining town which had its heyday in the late 1800's. The Antrim history in Pabradfo records that Catholics were meeting for Mass as early as 1880. Tim Drake Virginia Beach, Va.

1. [PABRADFO] Tri-County Email Backlog
2. Hi All, I am sorry not to have kept up with email this week. My modem phone line has been out several times with all the WET we have here. I was without electricity from Wednesday afternoon to late Wednesday night and again from yesterday afternoon until 5 this morning. I have been reading a backlog of Newsweeks by flashlight and sleeping more than normal. New York State is like a great massive saturated sponge. Everything is wet and dripping and soggy. Water, water everywhere. I took some time off from work yesterday afternoon to do some catch-up on my business accounting and all I could do was write checks by the light of a kerosene lamp for a while. SO, if you have written and not heard from me, give me some time (and electricity and phone) to catch up. Joyce M. Tice Tri-Counti es Genealogy & History Sites of Joyce M. Tice

3. Hi guys, I'm back on line. Looks like I caught the tale end of an announcement, Pat. Did someone have a baby? What else did I miss?? Well we're moved, altho we still have some odds and ends in the old place. (I don't know which is worse short moves or long ones. And 13 years in one place does permit one to collect too much stuff). But you sure do get to sort out and throw away or sell alot of unnecessary "stuff." Maybe, now that I'm sorting, I can get my genealogy better organized (????). I AM getting my pictures all gathered up into one place (antique, old and current). Well, did anyone find any Trasks laying around any where, while I was gone??? 1. MCELHOE / McIlhoe = Soundex
2. Dee A. Reeves
3. Regarding the name Mcelhoe, You will see it is a name that is uncommonly spelled, So considering the differences in nationalities and pronunciation and handwritings of the time period, It sometimes pay to spell it as the surname is sounded. I have numerous spellings of my surname with documentation to back them as being the same person. I first check a couple handy books and seen the spelling " McIlhoe", using an {I instead of an E} matching your names as it is sounded. I then did a quick search using Joyce's search engine and the spelling I had seen prior in a book and remembered I am sure you will find them. As for the LDS ANCESTRAL FILES, they are not always carved in stone material or as correct as one would like them to be, but may become useful if your in a jam and are trying to work out leads . I feel they don't always have good documentation when it is needed to back up as SOURCE documentation. I have enclosed the two links I believe you will find they are the line you are searching. The same would be as using the soundex system, White also being Whyte. Hopefully this will be of some use to you. Sincerely, Dee A.
