HI All, I have just renovated Litchfield Township's page AND I have added the Warner Cemetery to it. Veteran's Township page also got a housecleaning today and a new photo fresh from this morning. You can get to them from the Township Index of Tri-Counties Genealogy & History Sites of Joyce M. Tice Joyce M. Tice
If Al Joyner is on this list, please reply. Your e-address in incorrect on the Rootsweb list. Thanks, Larry Hunt Pittsburgh, PA
Hi All, For those who can be patient, Carlton is working on the rest of the 1880 census for Tioga County. This has been announced previously on this mail list for guests of Tri -Counties Genealogy & History Sites of Joyce M. Tice Some of the townships already have their 1880 census online and the rest are in progress. I believe he intends to do Chemung County's 1880 census following Tioga County. It took about a year to do the 1880 Bradford County census, so DO please be patient or look for the missing census records on microfilm at any good library. Steele in Elmira has them for those of you who are local. Joyce M. Tice
Hi All Friends and Guests of Tri-Counties Genealogy & History Sites of Joyce M. Tice I have just uploaded the 1855 to 1863 letters of Nancy PETTIBONE (Davis) to her sister Lavinia PETTIBONE (Monro) of Columbia Township. Nancy had migrated to Michigan and wrote back. You can reach them from the Diaries and Letters section of the site at Box 31B of the Online Research Library, OR you can get to them from the Columbia Township Page. I have also included a photo of Lavinia who received the letters. You must all be sleeping LATE today as site count is low for this time of day. Maybe some of you are outside enjoying the weather, but it is a bit cold here today. I did take some great photos, though, this morning from a high hill in Veteran where I could see Seneca Lake to the North. That is, I am assuming they are great. I have not looked at them yet, but the Finger Lakes are always nice. OK, go look at the letters. Joyce M. Tice Tri-Counties Genealogy & History Sites of Joyce M. Tice

Does anyone have census info on the Reasors in Chemung County, NY? My Gggrandfather was born there in 1834. Thanks for any info on this family!
Hello All, Could anyone suggest where we can find an 1860 Census for Martinsburg Borough, Bedford County, PA.? We think my husbands GGGrandfather and GGGrandmother may be on it. Many thanks for any suggestions. Gerald & Jean Randall chipmouse@prodigy.net
Hi All, I have been adding to the Schools Section again today. The real prize of the additions is the 1897 Womens' Gym Uniform at the Mansfield Normal School As I remember, those we wore in High School in the 1960s were pretty bad, too, but in no way the rival of these 1897 costumes. AND I have just received ALL the photos of the Troy graduating class of 1943 including one of our most loyal Tri-County census transcribers. He'll know who I mean. They are not on site yet and it will be a while. I started out three weeks ago trying to catch up with a two year backlog of school memorabilia and now so much new material has come in that I am further behind than I was. It is a moving target. BUT keep the good stuff coming. Check them out at Tri- Counties Genealogy & History Sites of Joyce M. Hi All - Granville Center Cemetery is now online. You can reach it from the Granville Township page of Tri-Counties Genealogy & History Sites of Joyce M. Tice Thanks to Tim Drake who spent his vacation on it. A couple of years ago I made the outrageous suggestion that people come here and spend their vacations reading cemeteries. Now they actually do it. We are such a good group. Joyce M. Tice
I have been off the list for a long time, but decided to pursue again the BENNETT clan. I have all the information from the history of the early Bennetts (Amos, Benjamen, etc.) and I have all the Census records except one. Does anyone have access to 1840? I have the page number if you can help me. I am still pursing the wife of Harvey Bennett born 1809, died April 25th, 1895 and the wife of Charles Bennett born 1835...He married Altheda ????. I still don't have Charles death date, sometime after 1900. Thanks for any help! John Blair
Hi List, I visited the library this afternoon, and found that someone has messed up their computers to the point where they can't even receive e-mail. The man that does their computer work has been working very hard to fix it, but the problem has been caused by hackers. They also had a crash of one of their other computers that is not networked, so if you need to contact them be patient. They are working very hard to get everything up and running again. Pat Raymond
