    3. Genealogy.com is a totally different company than Ancestry. Ancestry is Myfamily.com, Ancestry.com and RootsWeb.com. Genealogy.com is a subsidiary of A & E Television Networks. 2. Hi Kitty, The book may be on line at Genealogy.com which is a paid site and part of Ancestry.com but can be paid for separate from the rest of Ancestry.com. That is the only one we subscribe to and have found lots of neat info that we had been looking for. It does seem to me that I remember the book. Once in a while Genealogy.com will run a free offer for one month with out you having to give your credit card number. This surprised me last year when we got it for a month free trail. After a few months we decided to subscribe, and happy we did so. Pat Wainwright of Chemung Co., NY

    1. [Tri-Counties] Please do this at the real surname blitz and all the time....
    2. frogg
    3. I have a simple request when the REAL surname blitz is announced. PLEASE put in the SUBJECT line WHO you are researching, or WHAT you want. I personally (and I doubt I am alone) belong to several of these sites and I get a vast amount of email. It would be helpful to be able to just glance at the title and see if it is someone/something. I am interested in. This also helps YOU because you will be sure that someone will see what you want. I get so frustratred or short of time sometimes I just scan over the whole newsletter and if I don't see a title that's of interest I delete it. I may be losing out but I just dont have the time to open every single email. I have books and cd's I can research to help someone if they ask ie: I need a look up in the 1880 census for so and so in such and such a place. In the subject line they could put lookup for 1880 census... or such. I unfortunately do not have time to take multiple requests and since copyright laws are a funny animal I simply do not want to get in trouble with anyone either. This is such a SIMPLE thing to do and it really benefits all of us. Thank you for "hearing" me out. :) Debby Bowman Benson, AZ

    1. [Tri-Counties] Charles E Young
    2. Robin & Dawn Carew
    3. Please can you all help. My grandfather Willard J. Young and his wife Francis B. Holmes lived in Elmira as long as I can remember. They both passed away in the 70's. I am trying to do a tree for my mother Betsy Young who grew up in Elmira and I am stuck with Willard's Parents. So far I can give this info: Elizabeth May Young - born Aug 11, 1930 - still living William H Young - born 1928 - sitll living Father Willard Joseph Young - born Sept 15, 1900 in Elmira died Sept 1975 Largo Florida Mother Francis B. Holmes - born June 29, 1898 Downsville died Dec 1970 Largo Florida Willard's Father Charles E Young - born about 1868 died about 1964 in Elmira Willard's Mother Elizabeth M (Wood) Young - born about 1874 died about 1955 Elmira My Grandfather Willard had the Lumber yard, WJ and ER (his brother Edgar) Lumber Company and a Maple Syrup farm. They lived on East Hill as I can remember when very little (I am now 50). Can anybody out there help with this. I have searched records and seem to think that Joseph Norman Young who married into the Hillikers may be a clue. Thank You Dawn Carew Florida

    1. [Tri-Counties] Response to Roll Call problems
    2. I'd like to echo Sue Perry's response to the Roll Call problems. This is a great site and I hate to see anyone do anything to take away from it. I have been fortunate enough to meet Joyce a few years ago when I was doing research in PA and NY. She spent several hours with me taking us to cemeteries and discussing my ancestors. She does a great job and I hope that each of us will try to help by following the rules. Hers is one of the best sites on the internet and lets not do anything to detract from it. If there are a couple of posts with nothing in them from me, pleadse excuse - I still hit the wrong button sometime. Betty Gregory Edmond, Oklahoma

    2. Dick McCracken
    3. Kitty, Your answer lies on the Research Library opening page, immediately below the column heading Bradford County: "Formed 21 February 1810 from Luzerne and Lycoming Counties PA" Ergo, Ulster was part of Luzerne County in 1800. Kitty Jones wrote: > I am looking for the current location of Ulster, Luzerne County in 1800. There is a family list as John Drone living near Thomas Parks. Later Thomas Parks and William Drown went into Litchfield in Bradford County.
