    2. JUNIATA The stork has been on the job again, leaving baby boys with Mr. and Mrs. P. Valance, of 908 Second street and Mr. and Mrs. J. L. Piper, of 930 Seventh avenue. Mrs. F. V. McCoy, of 414 Sixth avenue, is entertaining Mr. and Mrs. James Carter, of Atlantic city. The funeral of little Edna Margaret Piper, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Piper, of 114 Tenth avenue, will take place Sunday at 2 p.m., at the home, services will be conducted by the Rev. Charles Wesley Wasson. Interment in Rose Hill cemetery. Mrs. S. B. Bain, of 709 Sixth avenue, will spend today in Sinking Valley. Civil War Veteran J. C. Arble, of 425 Eighth avenue, has a fine line of cabbage, tomato, celery and other plants for sale, and will be pleased to serve you at any time. Mr. Arble has been a subscriber of the Tribune for fifty-three years, first becoming a subscriber when the Tribune was published weekly. Miss Ober, of New Enterprise, returns home today, after spending several days with her brother, Professor Birch Ober, of the High school faculty. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Davis of 610 Second street, are entertaining A. J. Campbell of Shamokin. Mr. and Mrs. E. L. Davis, of 610 Second street, attended the golden wedding anniversary of Mr. Davis's parents, Mr. and Mrs. George L. Davis, of Glasgow, on Monday. The venerable couple who are in their seventies, enjoyed the day to the utmost with their children, grandchildren and other friends. They were the recipient of many handsome presents, among them being a purse of $50 in gold. The high school seniors were last evening entertained by Miss Sara Bain, a member of the class of prospective graduates, and the young people enjoyed an evening in music and parlor games in her home at 215 Ninth avenue. Members of the faculty were present and the event was one of social good fellowship of teachers and pupils.
