Happy New Year! I am new to this board and I am doing research on my great great grandfather, his name is Martin Gates and his wife's name is Rachael Ellen Mayes. He is from Catherine Township and I am not sure when he died or when he was born although I think he could have been born around 1838, his son, John Henry Gates, was born in 1861 so I am just guessing on the birth year. Is there anyone out there that might have any information on him? Thanks in advance.
